Because we are growing at such a rapid pace, this month we announced further expansion of our head office support team in Cork with the appointment of Sinead Cregan-Hayes as Sales and Business Development Executive. 

Sinead joins our team with over 25 years' experience in the industry and her role will see her empowering the very best and experienced travel professionals in Ireland to run their own business as part of Travel Counsellors Ireland. 

It's my pleasure to welcome Sinead to our ever increasing family. She brings a wealth of experience and we are confident her skills and enthusiasm will enable us to build the business further. We plan to launch the business in counties where we have no Travel Counsellors as yet. Currently we have opportunities in Galway, Offaly, Monaghan, Sligo, Laois, Longford and Leitrim and we also intend to grow in all other areas too. It's been our experience over the past 9 years that the more Travel Counsellors we have in a particular country, the more business they generate between them as brand awareness increases and the TC's support each other too. 

We are all about partnership at Travel Counsellors, we don't compete with our agents, we don't sell against them, we don't have retail shops and we don't have a call centre. We have a team of four very experienced travel people in our Cork office backed up by over 200 support personnel in our global head office. Bernie Whelan with over 25 years' experience in the travel industry in Ireland acts as mentor and coach to our TC's while Ciara MacConnell with 19 years' travel experience is our Operations Executive and our very own air fares expert. 

Bernie, Ciara, Sinead and I are excited about the future; not only growing the business for our Travel Counsellors, but also building on the relationships we have with our top suppliers. We are busy preparing for our Irish Conference in Lyrath Hotel, Kilkenny on 21st and 22nd may - it will be our biggest and best yet.
